Tuesday, Day 2 of Ranking :)

This week we are basically drawing and researching our sources/objects in as a variety of different mediums, so when it comes to making our maquettes we'll have plenty of source material. So far I've recreated a few of my barber tools in wire (my fingers are in ribbons from it, hard work!), I've played with wax and printed some of tools seeing what shaped and forms I can discover from the silhouettes they create I've made some interesting discoveries, I can honestly say I'm enjoying the process.

Today also I went into town and visited a Barber shop on Denmark street to look at his tools and asked him kindly if I could take some pictures:) The barber shop man was very obliging and even took out some amazing vintage style cut throat razors he had in the back, so they should be useful :)

Also brought millions of combs in the euro store :) I might collage them or something :)
